Color/Bouquet:   Bright ruby color with garnet hues; intense bouquet with scents of tobacco and chocolate.

Barolo

Alcohol level: 14%

VINES:  Nebbiolo 100%

Food matches: Ideal as an aperitif and end-of-meal wine. Serve at 50°F.

Belvedere Chianti Superiore D. O. C. G. (RED)

Alcohol level: 13%

VINES: 90% Sangiovese; 10% Merlot

Color/Bouquet: Ruby red.  Red fruit and violet flower with sweet tannins and good acidity.

Food Matches: Good for starters and meats, but also with salad and young cheeses.

Accordini Amarone Classico Acinatico

Alcohol level: 14.3%

Vines:   Corvina Veronese 75% Rondinella 20% Molinara 5%

Color/Bouquet:   Dense and deep garnet red. Rich and concentrated bouquet w/ vanilla scent that recalls dried fruit

Food Matches:  Served with game, grilled meat and mature cheeses.  Serve between meals, or as an accompaniment to good conversation.  Serve at 65°/66°F in very large glasses, “balloon”.

Sesta di Sopra Rosso di Montalcino (RED)

Alcohol level: 14%

VINES:  Sangiovese 100%

Color/Bouquet:  Intense ruby red color with an aroma of fresh fruit with toasty vanilla notes.  Elegant, austere body.

Food Matches:   Pasta with meat sauces, fowl, mushrooms, complex rice dishes, main courses of pork or veal.   Serve at 65°F.

Fermentation:  Matured in french oak barriques and aged in bottles for 3 months.

Lodole Langhe Rosso D.O.C. (RED)

Alcohol level: 14%

VINES:  Nebbiolo 100% from the Langhe area.

Color/Bouquet:  Bright ruby color.  Clear and softly elegant bouquet with scents of liquorice.

Food Matches:  It is excellent with red meats, game and matured cheeses.   Serve at 65°F.

Lodole Nebbiolo Alba D.O.C. (RED)

Alcohol level: 13.5%

VINES:   Nebbiolo 100%

Color/Bouquet:  Bright ruby color.  Clear and softly elegant bouquet of rose and gillyflower.

Food Matches:  Served with both white and red roast meats, and seasoned cheeses.  Serve at 65°F.

Salvano Piemonte Rosso (Oro Nero) DOC (RED)

Alcohol level: 14%

VINES:  Nebbiolo 100%

Color/Bouquet:   Bright ruby color with garnet hues; intense bouquet with scents of tobacco and chocolate.

Vines:  Gar-ga-ne-ga 90% and trebbiano di Soave 10%

Color/Bouquet:  Straw yellow; delicate flowery aroma

Vines:   Pinot Grigio harvested in middle September.             

Color/Bouquet: Straw yellow, green nuanced.  Fruity with floral aromas; notes of violet and acacia.

Food Matches: Serve w/ first courses and fish.  Perfect as an aperitif and cheeses.

 

Roncolato Capel Del Prete

Alcohol level: 13%

Vines: 100% Garganega and antique Garganega grown in special vineyard called Capel Del Prete.

Color/Bouquet:  Pale yellow; scent of acacia flowers and ripe apricots.

Food Matches:  Great matched with fish dishes, vegetable and fish. Pairs well with fresh and soft cheese and selected finger food.  Serve at 47/50°F

 

Roncolato Valpolicella Superiore (Santa Barbara) (Red)

Alcohol:  13.5%

Vines:  Corvina 50%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 20%.

Color/Bouquet:  Ruby red color and fruity wine bouquet that is a reminiscent of morello cherry.

Food matches: Perfect served with roasts of red meat, grilled meats or cheeses.  Serve at 50°F.

Roncolato Ripasso (San Rocco) (Red)

Alcohol: 14%

Vines: Corvina 50%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 20%.

Color/Bouquet: Light, vivid zesty and persistent perlage. Fresh and slightly fruity, the original aroma of Custoza grapes.

Food matches: Ideal as an aperitif and end-of-meal wine. Serve at 50°F.

Roncolato Amarone “Carnera” Riserva DOCG (RED)

VINES:  Corvine 50%, Corvinone 35%, Rondinella 10%, Oseleta 5%

Color/Bouquet: Dark Red.  Spicy, plummy and chocolaty.  Sweet raisined-style fruit.

Food Matches:  Excellent for meditation; pairs well with fur and feather game.  Serve at 65°F.

Gorgo Perlato Spumante Brut

Alcohol level:  12%

Vines: Trebbiano toscano 35%, Garganega 35%, Cortese 20%, Durello 10%.
Color/Bouquet: Light, vivid zesty and persistent perlage. Fresh and slightly fruity, the original aroma of Custoza grapes.

Gorgo Bardolino Superiore Monte Maggiore DOCG (RED)

Alcohol level:  12.5%

Vines: Corvina 60%, Rondinella 30%, Molinara 10%.

Color/Bouquet: Intense ruby red, almost purple.  Intense scent of red ripe cherry.
Food matches: First courses of red meats and tasty cheese. Serve at 61/65°F

Alcohol level:  12.5%
Vines: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah
Color/Bouquet: Light ruby red.  Intense, subtly herbaceous.

Pedemontana Tramontino I.G.T.

Alcohol level:10.5% (10g/l)

VINES:  Lambrusco vines from Modena with a prevalence of Lambrusco Salamino vines.

Color/Bouquet:  Light ruby red; fruity taste of wild rose and raspberry.

Food Matches:  Suitable for main courses and pasta.  Serve at 55/60°F.

VINES:  100% Primitivo di Gioia del Colle

Color/Bouquet: Purplish red, intense, and brilliant turning slowly toward orange with consistent aging.  A bouquet that is large, intense, persistent, fine, ripe red fruit and spicy, enriching pleasantly with time.

Food Matches:  Spicy spaghetti, lasagna with meat sauce, and Peking duck.  Serve at 65°F.

Collina Moscato d’ Asti D.O.C.G.

Alcohol level: 5.5%  (133g/l sugar)

VINES: 100% Ancient Moscato grapes from Piedmont .

Color/Bouquet: Intense straw yellow color with delicate greenish shimmer. A delicate white froth
results in a fine and extremely persistent perlage.

Food Matches:  Desserts; particularly baked sweets and cakes. Also with topped pastries, cream
filled cakes, fruit tarts, milk puddings and custard. Ideal for a mid-afternoon break.

Collina Barbera d’ Asti D.O.C.G. (RED)

Alcohol level: 13%

VINES:  100% Barbera

Color/Bouquet:  Deep ruby red color.  An intense and persistent bouquet, pleasantly fruity: it reveals aromas of fresh flowers and fruit such as plum and sour cherry.

Food Matches: Excellent with appetizers, pasta dishes, grilled red meat and white meat; cold cuts
and lightly mature chesses

Belvedere Casanova I. G. T. (Supertuscan) (RED)

Alcohol level: 13%

VINES:  60% Sangiovese; 30% Merlot; 10% Syrah

Color/Bouquet:  Deep ruby.  Wild red berry fruit, spices and subtle notes of vanilla.

Food Matches:  All meats, even poultry and veal and young cheeses.

Accordini Recioto Classico Acinatico

Alcohol level: 13.5%  (125 g/l sugar)

VINES:  Corvina Veronese 75%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 5%                     .

Color/Bouquet: Very intense purple red.  Typical of dried fruit with scent of violet.

Food Matches:  A dessert wine particularly suited for cakes and pies.  Serve at 57°/61°F.
This wine can keep its characteristics for 10-15 years.

Alcohol level: 16.5%

Vines: Corvina Veronese 75%, Corvinone 25%

Color/Bouquet:  Deep dense garnet red.  Hint of vanilla that recalls dried fruit.

Food Matches:  Serve with game, grilled meat, roasts or mature cheeses or as conversational wine.

Extraordinary vigor and complexity and can be kept for about 20 years.
